Sidney Lumet is producing his next two films with Funky Buddha Group, and is developing a third with them. According to Variety, Lumet will first direct Getting Out.

The film, which revolves around a prison breakout, was written by Lumet. The main character is desperate to regain his freedom, but must go head to head with the prison psychiatrist and the woman he desires to break free.

The film will go into production this January. The second and third film weren't mentioned in the deal.
