Shirley Manson Signs on for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
She will become a series regular, portraying Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a state-of-the-art technology corporation. This is the first major acting role for Manson, whose band "Garbage" burst on the scene in 1995 with their self-titled album that went double platinum with the help of the popular singles, "Only Happy When It Rains" and "Stupid Girl."
No production schedule for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been released, but they are still slated for their second season debut this fall. The show debuted in midseason and was the highest-rated new scripted series of the whole season.
