Shia LaBeouf's Hand Injury Hampers Transformers : The Revenge of The Fallen

It seems as if a blockbuster sequel has to readjust its shooting schedule some. According to Variety, actor Shia Labeouf will be sidelined from the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen after a Sunday car accident resulted in Labeouf's arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence as well as an injured hand.

The actor's publicist said Labeouf will be back on the set within a month, but Dreamworks insisted the production has not been shut down, although the shooting schedule was shuffled considerably. Scenes with Josh Duhamel had to be pushed up to accommodate Labeouf's absence and a source familiar with the situation said, "Everyone had to readjust their schedule."

Despite Dreamworks' insistence that the production didn't lose any time, a source close to the film said that at least two days were lost because of the mishap.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

You must be blind as a f*cking bat, no one in their right mind would just willingly pull out in front of a vehicle and risk injury and possible death all in the name of hyping up a movie. That is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard, the f*ckin truck flipped over, this wasn't like a fender bender in traffic, he had a girl in the passenger seat!

    This is getting way out of hand with all these different opinions but yet everyone says its wrong to drink and drive...

    Its this simple... what he does in his personal life SHOULD NOT effect his career unless he's accused of a felony.. just like any other job. In most jobs, you're suspended until further investigation. The guy is young and made a mistake but it shouldn't effect him from getting jobs (in this case landing movies). The charge isn't THAT serious... its a misdemanor. Now... if he had hurt or killed someone... then of course you put his ass in jail. PERIOD. Let's hope he learns from this.

    Now.. WATCHMAN... you said: "R guys f*cking kidding me?!?! Ur saying he should get written off a third transformers?!? That's f*cking bullsh*t! U all know that you'd want him in how ever many movies they make of transformers"...

    I honestly don't think Shia makes the Transformer movie... its the robots that make the movie bad ass. Whether Transformers 2, 3, 4.. whatever... has or doesn't have Shia.. it makes no difference. I personally wouldn't care if Shia starred in Transformers 2 or not. The movie will work with or without him.
