Shia LaBeouf as Mutt in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
BBC recently chatted with actor Shia LaBeouf, who was promoting Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and he revealed a follow-up to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is in the works.

"Steven [Spielberg] just said that he cracked the story on it before I left and I think they're gearing that up," LaBeouf said.

The actor also talked a bit about the sequel Wall Street 2. "There's definitely no special effects in that movie. Money Never Sleeps, I think, is now the official title now."

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was released September 24th, 2010 and stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Eli Wallach, Susan Sarandon, Frank Langella, Austin Pendleton. The film is directed by Oliver Stone.

Inter dimensional or not, it's still the same.

  2. The Narrator: The Better Man

Once again to every idiot or most of them on this thread, they weren't "aliens" like the outer space kind. Their we're inter dimensional beings. Meaning from a different dimension, not outer space. I didn't like how they looked but who gives a crap.

I am sure with all the fans a bit upset about it, they will change some of their errors. Overall Indy 4 was a fun family B movie, which they said in the behind the scenes is what they were aiming for. So chill.

I am sure Indy 5 will be better as will Spiderman 4.

ahhh, sirmetro, Spielberg DID direct the last Indy film, you know? Lucas's idea, Spielberg's film. How did Lucas "crap us over"? with Indy 4?

The biggest problem of all was waiting 20 years for a new installment. Ghostbusters 3 may have the same problem.

Lucas wants his right hand in two pies, his own and Spielbergs. He needs to leave Indy alone.

Spielberg better do this one,i insist. Lucas crapped on our heads last time. Lesson for Lucas - never do sh*t that Steven could have done.LOL. The last film was "just ok" but in the hands of Steven, we could have gotten somn much better. Instead of being on this one i suggest Lucas should go hang. Die *sshole, die.

Shia might be cute and all, but that last Indy movie was just plain dumb. I don't know if I'll watch the next one, especially if there's aliens involved. When I saw that in the last one I went to the front desk and asked for my money back. When they asked what the problem was I said "Theres aliens in an Indiana Jones movie WTF?" I unfortunately didn't get my money back :(

    HUH???

    I dont understand..really?
And yes it is the Plot...Aliens and Atomic Bombs and Tarzan...those were all choosen as scenes as part of the movie. What you dont understand is that the acting alone was completely rubbish, even for Mr Ford, there was no passion behind anything...and yes there is such a thing as using tooooooooo much CGI. Which will always make the originals of any film over shadow these hi-tech over budget sequels... see I have control

I just hope this new one doesn't have anything to do with aliens since Lucas is going to be involved in the production again. Hopefully they do something within the realm of...I don't know, not gay as f*ck.

You are trying to bash the Raiders of the Lost Ark over the Kingdom of Crystal Skulls???? WTF is wrong with you??? ROTLA was and still is an ALL TIME CLASSIC. Of coarse it's the same premesis with the movie's plot revolving around some fiction and myth...but are trying to defend a ClassB movie over an all time Great Film...Once again proving your sub-par intelligence...f*cking child!!!

  21. Clockworkcookie

    @ JA : yes that 50s characterization was a great idea :)

I think in some ways the new Indiana Jones movie was perhaps "too" faithful to its origins (as a B class adventure movie); what worked in the 80s, sometimes can fail in our time. People want more cynicism and darkness, and less camp.. Sometimes I think Temple of Doom was more appropriate for our time and Crystal Skull fits better with the other 2. But of course this is just my opinion.

  22. J.A.Ottley.Writer / Director

    LOL wow the immature negativity.

Indiana jones is archelogical adventure which is based around beliefs, religions and theories, that's all.
Unless one of you knew Jesus, and he allowed you to drink from the Holy grail, etc etc.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_skull

But for some reason, the film theory well Lucas and Spielberg decided to make them Alien Crystal skulls, for some reason.

I enjoyed Shia in Indy, though he was great and he is a top nomination to continue the Indy franchise hopefully Indiana Jones Jnr.
I especially liked the whole Marlon Brando, James Dean, Rebel without a cause clothing get up

On another note, I have never seen this movie. I refuse to see it, as I do not want to tarnish my childhood memories of Indiana Jones. Once I heard there was Aliens in it i said, "F*ck that sh*t!" Thats enough for me to know that its gonna suck. But, as I went about looking up this so called evidence that you speak of aliens being linked to human past I happened upon the plot as written on wikipedia...ARE YOU F*CKING SERIOUS!!!! It was already bad enough that i knew there was aliens in it, but a f*cking portal! Aliens talking to each other and giving their memories to some stupid ass bitch, and combining themselves into a larger alien. What are they f*cking Voltron! I rather watch a marathon Nicaraguan soap operas and Mexican Jerry Springer for the rest of my waking existence than be subjected to that bile piece of garbage parading it self as an Indiana Jones movie.

Give me a f*cking break Rumi! What history book have you been reading the f*cking funny papers? The only aliens I know of is that f*cking Lord Zenu and thats about the dumbest sh*t i've ever heard of in my live, and if your only other source is the accounts of drunk inbred white trash, well your probably just as inbred as they are.

man i just hope he is not in the next one, and my question is this... how in the world it took 19 years to figure out a new artifact, and in the course of two they have got a new story locked. maybe they should combine the two films just discussed... indiana jones and the money that never sleeps
