Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is in talks to join Lars von Trier's erotic drama The Nymphomaniac. Stellan Skarsgård and Charlotte Gainsbourg are already attached to star.
Shia LaBeouf to star in The Nymphomaniac
The drama will be a two part project. The first will be a softer version and the second will be more explicit. The story centers on the erotic adventures of a woman from her youth to the age of fifty. It is told through the eyes of her husband Joe (Stellan Skarsgård). Shia LaBeouf's role in the film has not been revealed.
Shia LaBeouf next stars in John Hillcoat's western Lawless, and will later be seen in Robert Redford's The Company You Keep.
Production is scheduled to begin in September.
Nymphomaniac comes to theaters March 21st, 2014 and stars Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Nicolas Bro, Jesper Christensen, Jens Albinus. The film is directed by Lars von Trier.
