Mickey Liddell's parents must be very proud of him today. According to Variety, he has landed a deal to direct his very first feature film. Entitled She Lived, it will be a thriller produced under Mickey's own Liddell Entertainment banner.

The plot involves a murderous mom who goes after her own daughter for reasons not disclosed. John Travis wrote the original screenplay, which has since been revised by Rebecca Sonnenshine. Before this, Sonnenshine wrote the independently produced mockumentary American Zombie.

She Lived will star Haley Bennett, Jake Weber, Shannon Woodward, Josh Stewart, AnnaLynne McCord, Shanna Collins, Marin Hinkle, Nina Siemaszko and Chace Crawford.

Filming begins this July in Los Angeles.
