It seems one of Dick Wolf's successful TV franchises is about to get a big-name guest star once again. Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files is reporting that actress Sharon Stone will appear as a guest star on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

It was said that Stone will appear in a four-episode arc that will start in April. She will play an ex-cop who became a prosecutor and causes some friction with the SVU crew.

"It is obviously a thrill and a delight to have a star of Sharon's wattage and importance joining SVU," said series executive producer Dick Wolf.
