Sharonn Stone joins Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story
Sharon Stone will play the mother of porn star Linda Lovelace, who we reported last year will be portrayed by Malin Akerman. The biopic will be based on Linda Lovelace's autobiography, Ordeal: An Autobiography, which she co-wrote with Mike McGrady. The book chronicles Linda Lovelace's rise to international fame after starring in the XXX classic Deep Throat, and how she was forced into the porn industry by her abusive husband.
Matthew Wilder will direct Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story from his own screenplay, which is adapted from Ordeal: An Autobiography. It isn't known when production will begin, although it is reported that Sharon Stone will shoot The Mule before working on Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story.
Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story was released in 2011 and stars Malin Akerman, Bill Pullman, Sharon Stone. The film is directed by Matthew Wilder.
