Too much going on in this trailer,all too fast, to coherently see any spoilers, so props to them there. Also, you've gotta hand it to Vaughn. He's been showing us different views of the same scenes over and over, to keep the better aspects of the film a secret, such as the official outfits of the mutants (they're said to look very James Bond like). Anyways, can't wait to see the film ,as it'll undoubtedly have more political and emotional ties weaved through it than Thor will, and possibly even Captain America.

@skywise..I know, Fox and continuity dont mix, once something fails they try to re-do it over in another film, and there stupid if they dont think we dont notice... thats why i hope i live to see the day Marvel Studios gets the rights back and do their version of X-Men...But FOX is holding on to the rights so hard like its their testicles or something :]

dont look for any hardcore continuity, FOX has shown us that they are thumbing their noses at the fans but they do manage to keep the tone.
The thing that bothered me about the original X Men movies was that when the muties did something amazing they seemed surprised that they could do that. By the time the school was established and characters like Rogue and Wolvie came on board they were well aware of their maximum attributes and limitations.

@bane5000 maybe they dont become foes but perhaps its just setting the tone...showing the differences in philosophy that will eventually make them enemies. Just taking a wild guess but in order to keep THAT bit continuity they would have to remain friends (albiet with fractures forming in their friendship).
But lets be honest here...Fox has never really given a sh*t about the X Men continuity from the beginning. Just look at how Beast, and Angel were introduced. Not to m ention Iceman as a student when in the books he was one of the first X Men.

@jptheredskull...But what still bugs me is if Xavier and Magento become foes by the end of this film, then the scene in X3 of both of them still being friends going to visit Jean is irrelavent and create yet another plothole in the continuity

I think this is trailer is even better than the other "theatrical 2" trailer that was also released today. I wish there was a place to download this version in High res. The music in this one is more emotional and it fits perfectly! I got shivers watching this one!
