Seth Rogen has signed on to star as Zack in Kevin Smith's upcoming comedy entitled Zack and Miri Make a Porno. According to Variety, Elizabeth Banks will play Miri in the film.

The story follows the adventures of two lifelong platonic friends that find themselves knee-deep in debt. They decide to enlist the help of their friends to make a porno for some quick cash. While producing the amateur smut film, the two leads discover that they may have deeper feeling for each other than they originally thought.

Shooting will begin this January in Pittsburgh.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno was released October 31st, 2008 and stars Elizabeth Banks, Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson, Gerry Bednob, Jason Mewes, Edward Janda, Nicholas Lombardi, Chris Milan. The film is directed by Kevin Smith.
