Semi-Pro Sweeps DVD Charts

The 70s, afros and colored basketballs reigned supreme on home video this past week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Semi-Pro topped the DVD sales, rentals and high-def sales charts for the week ending June 8. That's not to say there wasn't some stiff competition though.

Two other newcomers fared well on the charts as well, with Meet the Spartans finishing in second place in DVD rentals and fifth in sales. The Eye also fared well, finishing fourth in sales and fifth in rentals.

Semi-Pro managed to knock off National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets, which held the top sales spot for the past two weeks, down to second place. Last week's top renter, Rambo slipped to fourth on the rental charts.

I actually was Vamp, and I saw it 3 days ago and thought it was by far his worst movie. They just tried way too hard to make it funny, to the point that it killed the humor. I dont doubt they realized that and will make sure they dont make that mistake again.

I didnt waste my time with The Eye or Spartans, Rambo was...well its Rambo you get what you get, rambo vs the army of Burma. Semi Pro was like every other Saturday night live movie, a few laughs. He did wrestle a bear, thats all I remember being actually funny, besides being the flint Michigan Tropics, thats just comical, but very lil else.

The Eye was really bad, didn't waste my time with Meet the Spartans. The other movies were good, Rambo being the best.

WOW!!! Most of these films were sh*t...."Rambo" was good...not great but still a fun ride....

"The Eye" was boring as hell..saw it in theater and forgot most of it 10 minutes after I left....

I have no interest in "Meet the Spartans"...I would rather sit through "Paln 9 From Outer Space" for the 3rd time in life than this crap!!
