Miramax Films has launched the official website for Fernando Meirelles' Blindness. You can also watch the brand new teaser trailer that has been issued to coincide with the appearance of this great new thriller on the net. Based on Jose Saramago's best selling novel, the film stars Mark Ruffalo and Julianne Moore trapped in a world where blindness has become an epidemic.

Blindness opens September 19th, 2008.
Blindness was released October 3rd, 2008 and stars Yusuke Iseya, Jason Bermingham, Eduardo Semerjian, Don McKellar, Ciça Meirelles, Antônio Fragoso, Lilian Blanc, Douglas Silva. The film is directed by Fernando Meirelles.

'Blindness' gala screening + Q&A with Fernando Meirelles
Internationally acclaimed director Fernando Meirelles ('City of God' and 'Constant Gardner') is set to present a special gala screening of his latest and hotly anticipated film 'Blindness' in aid of Action for Brazil's Children Trust.
This is the first time members of the public in the UK will get the opportunity to see 'Blindness' and a month before general release. The audience will also be treated to a Q&A with Fernando after the screening.
Friday 31st October 2008 at Apollo Cinemas Piccadilly Circus from 6.30pm.
Tickets are 㿅 per person, incl:
complimentary drink before the screening,
introduction by Fernando Meirelles,
film screening,
Q&A with Fernando Meirelles.
All proceeds will go to ABC Trust
