What is wrong with you people? Why do you have to hate on this? I actually saw this movie and it was awesome! It really lived up to the original Three Stooges. Stop hating, it's slapstick comedy and it's hilarious.

This would be SO MUCH BETTER if they got these guys to do a Vegas or Broadway act instead of a film set in contemporary date; the transition they're trying to make into this movie being in modern day would be far more appropriate with a live audience.

The film looks terrible, but god, they guys they chose for the actual Three Stooges are simply brilliant. I worshiped the originals when I was a kid and still do today, so I'm a bit taken back with this whole thing. Like I said however, it would have been a greater delight to see these guys in a live performance rather than a low budget crap movie.

@incmob You are sort of correct about American Reunion. American Reunion is only projected at 30 million in its first weekend(on par with the other movies) that means its second weekend won't hurt Three Stooges at all. And Wrath of the titans sadly will fall big time at the box office(even though I want to see it).

And I have read that article before. But it is safe to say that The Three Stooges will at least triple its budget worldwide. Thus making it a success.

@thedude1 place your bet now... american reunion opens a week prior and wrath of the titans will only be two weeks old by the time this turd comes out. Yes, you are right... no competion the week of april 13, but does not mean audiences wont be seeing still fresh films especially if word of mouth is good... these days word of mouth is one of the best marketing tools and if stooges is hit hard on substance, it might recoup its budget... here is an interesting article you might want to read...

@incmob With a low budget of 30 million dollars and no real competition it will be hard for this to bomb.

@jskillet You are exactly right. I guess people just can't enjoy slapstick comedy anymore for some odd reason. I grew up watching the Three Stooges and from what I see these three guys have done a great job.

I don't care if this turns out to be a surprisingly praised and hilarious film (ala 21 Jump Street, which was hilarious btw) I'll still think it is stupid and unnecessary.

why are all you people putting this movie down? its the three stooges!!!! this movie seems to be legit on living up to the legends they were. its supposed to be a slapstick comedy. i dont know what your all expecting, but this is exactly what the stooges were about back in the 30s and 40s and i feel this preview lives up to who they were.

i think the backlash comes mainly from the stooges being made into a full length movie. their classic stuff was normally made as shorts, not movies. the gags are great for a short, but could easily grow tiresome in a full movie (much like most of the SNL movies).
as an aside, i think these three are fantastic stooges (from what i can see in the trailer). not completely sold on hayes as larry, but aside from that they seem to be doing a fantastic job as the stooges and should be given some credit.
