The Expendables 2 was released August 17th, 2012 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is directed by Simon West.

@supermanvenom@vampire2000 You might want to re-read what I wrote, I said I OVERLOOKED the acting because I KNOW it's a straight-up action movie, so I only went in looking to see some great action. And the action was mediocre. So if the only thing I'm expecting from an action movie is action and I get mediocre action, then I get a mediocre movie.
BTW, just because it's an action movie doesn't mean the plot or the acting have to suck. There's plenty of 80's action movies that had great plots (like Die Hard) or great acting (Aliens, Sigourney was nominated best actress). But thats just my opinion.

The first movie was great. Definitely a series where you can just sit back and have FUN for a couple hours. I think a lot of people expect every movie that comes out to be some thought-wrenching process with the best acting and plot in the whole world. That's boring. I like to go to movies to have fun, and that's what I got with The Expendables, and that's exactly what I'm expecting with The Expendables 2.

@thedude1 yea that to me and seeing Van Damme do the jumping roundhouse to Stallone was the best parts. I think Van Damme has kept the best in shape out of all the action stars and I am looking forward to his part in this. Too bad he will probably die because I would for them to work it out where Segal and him would in part 3 and have the ultimate showdown. Im sure Segal will be the villain in part 3 because he was a pretty good bad guy in Machete.

That trailer showed a lot, I'm now going to try and forget everything that I saw because it was f*cking bad-ass and cheesy in such a good way. Hopefully they don't forget some of the team moments that made the first one a guy movie more than just an action movie.
