Sucker Punch is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what's real and what is imaginary. She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls--the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)--to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm). Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey--if they succeed--will set them free.
Sucker Punch was released March 25th, 2011 and stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, Oscar Isaac, Jon Hamm. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

this is gonna be great.. its obvious its not a story type of movies but still i regard it as one of the best eye candy movies everr... can't wait.. especially that it is zac.. i mean the story might still be a strong part of the movie but we'll have to see about that one.

@REAL, good guesstimates. I'm with you on the story. It seems like it will have more plot than previously thought, but the dialog does look pretty bad and there's a huge risk of not tying everything off. Since this film was announced, its been a hit or miss... which is partially why I'm so into it. :P

he finished watchmen at like the end of 07, finished directing legend of the gaurdians in like 08 and it took the animation team a couple years to finish it without him pretty much while he filmed sucker punch at the same time Nolan was filming inception and is releasing it nine months after Nolan's epic mindf*cker of a movie. and now the two are teaming up for what is sure to be the sickest comic book adaption of all time. SUPERMAN! i've got a rager again

The Narrator: The Better Man
I'm not trying to jump the gun or anything, but judging by the plot synopsis, the cast, the trailers, and Snyder's background, here's what I think I'll be giving the film when I walk out of the theater. (Out of 5 stars.)
Story - 4 stars
Acting - 3.5 stars
Directing - 4.5 stars
Visuals - 5 stars
Overall 4, or 4.5 stars.
Now I know guessing what I'll give this film before hand is pretty moot and idiotic, but I think it's kind of fun, and I am honestly scarcely wrong about movies that I really anticipate. We'll see when it gets here. Still, I think we all agree that it looks f*cking bad ass.

1: What the freak is this movie about? :/
2: The fifth thing she needs, the "mystery", is probably something predictably typical, like love

I cant wait to see this. At least with this trailer we get a little more sense of the plot and characters. Emily Browning is awesome. I cant wait to see her in an action movie. Damn i am excited as all hell.

The plot sounds a little bizarre to say the least, and with a different director I probably wouldn't be interested. But this is a Snyder film, which means the style and action sequences are gonna be off the charts. Love it. Looking forward to this one.
