Great movie for kids but the trailer was awful, this may bomb at the box office.

Now that Robert Rodriguez is done messing around with this flop-in-the-making, maybe he can get some real work done!

@zender well the idea they shoul've gone with was having Carmen and Juni as the main characters, then throw in some Bond like adventures since they're all grown up now. The whole time-travel idea would've been having Carmen and Juni to never exist. jessica Alba and Joel McHale's characters will help them on their mission sincce they knew their parents. Think of it like James Bond, Back to the Future, and the original Spy Kids movie in one.

Worst, stupidest excuse for a film. And don't even get me started on the scratch and sniff gimmick.

@ghostman if the parents took over it wouldn't be a spy kid film. If he truly wants to continue this franchise then it should just be more like Bond.
This is how I see it, start with kids then when they turn 20 they continue but more on a Bond like adventure.

If the movie focused more on the annoying kids parents instead of the annoying kids, and continued the original Spy Kids story with a more 'grown-up and darker' Time-travel plot, then maybe it would've been better.
