really, i'm surprised everyone likes this so far. i mean its Rock'em Sock'em robots made into a movie. thats lame. i guess its a matter of opinion. and i think it is being released in October cause of ppl like me, who definitely would see this over anything else coming out this summer, i mean Pirates, Green Lantern, X-men, Captain America, Cowboys and Aliens, Super 8, Harry Potter, Transformers 3 plus there is probably more i'm forgetting, those all look pretty damn good. this summer is just too stacked for this movie. but October, there is nothing else i can think of, there isn't even a saw film this year, so i'll probably see this when it comes out.
plus the robot and a human being friends thing is kinda similar to Transformers so it probably has to distance itself from that.

@bawnian-dexeus It might not have been one of the bigger summer movies but when you take into account the biggest opening in October was a 3D movie that made just over 50 million dollars then it seems that a summer month would have been better.
