These movies are kool to watch during halloween month. Even scaryerrr by ur elf if u got the balls to, lol. Hoever If they keep milking them then its not so scary anymore because we all know wats coming next. part1 should have been the only film. thats it.
I would have liked it better if part2 took place right after part1 ended. like the same house, same family, same camera. maybe sumbody is seen walking into the bedroom to find the guy or a trashed room and grabing the camera from the floor location. or sumthing
The reason part2 failed in all leveles, was because Tthis other family has a same camera in their home. . How the hell doe diff families have a spy camera like that? and then it feels like a movie more than a live thing. Now part3 did it again. Another family w a spy cam. Its really getting old. They r not really dumb movies they jut think the fans will get fooled again.

@moviegeek I'm with you on that one hundred percent. Only difference is that I only liked the first one. I didn't care for PA2. It was decent to watch with a couple friends on Halloween night, but this one just looks lame. I'll still see a Midnight showing for it though first night. :P

@moviefreak97 I couldn't agree more, go back to the beginning. Full circle. Good trilogy, and I agree with the rest of you, end it now.

@thedude1 @moviegeek Depending on how they end this, their might be a PA4 since we dont know what happened after demon Katie took the baby from PA2 :P)

@moviegeek Keep in mind that the trailer isn't made my the filmmakers, it's made by the studios. Trailers misrepresent the actual tone of a film all the time. I hope this is a case where they just failed to represent the subtlety of the movie's pacing.

@moviefreak97 I hope they end here as well.

@moviegeek I thought so too. My one real hope for this one is that, instead of trying to expand farther, it brings the story full circle and ends on a high note. It's like Randy Meeks said in Scream 3, a good trilogy is all about going back to the beginning. It seems to me that's what they're going for. I hope I'm right.

@moviefreak97 PA2 was scarier in my opinion.

@moviegeek Oh yeah! Can't argue there. But if I remember correctly, a lot of the promotional spots for PA2 were centered around Gotcha moments. Quite a few of which were not even in the movie.

moviegeek
@moviefreak97 There were more "Gotcha!" moments in that trailer than in the entire first movie!

J. David
@moviegeek Well, I doubt the whole movie is gonna be like that, but I can agree the trailer hasn't done anything to prove otherwise. I actually enjoyed the GOTCHA moments, but I can see where you're worried.

I really like the first two, but from the looks of the trailer, this one is all wrong. The reason the first two were so scary was the suspense, not the "AH! Gotcha!" moments. This movie looks so stuffed with scares that it seems to have lost that feeling of dread and mystery.

Im glad to see they continued the tradition of having a hot mom in the film. First Katie, then her hot sister. Now, their hot mom and ghosts, sweet.

Well the movie looks awesome (just like the first two), but I can't help feeling like they showed too much in this trailer. Some of those moments would have been much more effective seeing them for the first time in theatres. I don't remember the trailers for the first two movies being this . . . intense.

@ghostman Sorry but this won't be the final movie no matter if it ties up all the loose ends or not. A money maker does not die in horror and especially with Paramount Pictures.
Anyway I find these movies just terrible. I do watch them and gave the first two a chance even though I didn't want to but I gave the first two movies a try and they were just so bad and quite stupid. It may be just me but I would rather be watching Saw 8 on October 21st than PA3.

this looks 1000x times better than the last2 but but but.. why the fuk, YES FUK... does it say "began" in the preview, yet this is part3? WHY NOT call it Paranormal Activity: Begins. It really pisses me off when they come out with a movie yrs after they had made 1 2 3 and 4, then out of nowhere we get a "see how it all began", blah. I wouldnt say this looks scary but it looks like theres more to see than just hours of 1 lil door slam.
