Second 'Olympus Has Fallen' Poster

Gerard Butler is the only thing that stands between the white house and terrorists in Antoine Fuqua's action thriller.
Olympus Has Fallen is one of two movies arriving next year that feature a terrorist takeover of the White House. It will beat White House Down to theaters by three months, and it's usually the first film out of the gate that makes the loudest impact.

White House Down stars Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx. Olympus Has Fallen stars Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman. So, it sounds like they are on equal turf in terms of cast. White House Down is directed by Roland Emmerich, who makes loud, bombastic action movies, and he certainly likes destroying shit. So expect to see the White House reduced to a pile of crumbs by the end. Antoine Fuqua, on the other hand, is an actor's director, and he led Denzel Washington to an Oscar for Training Day.

So, essentially, one will be a classy meal out at a nice restaurant, while the other will be a quick zip through the drive-through. Both of those serve their purposes, so we can't really call a loser in this scenario just yet. We have the second poster for Olympus Has Fallen, which seems to be getting itself out their amongst the movie going populace a little faster. Check out Gerard Butler in a classic action pose as he defends 1600 Penn with nothing but a small gun.

I hate the fact that two films of the exact same storyline has to go against each other. Honestly if I heard about someone else making the exact same thing, I would have gone to the creators to settle on which should be made. If I say the opponent should do it, then I would drop mine. This is just like Deep Impact and Armageddon, yet Armageddon made more (and it released after Deep Impact)

That kind of looks like a classic 80's action movie poster
