Second Hobo with a Shotgun Trailer

Hobo with a Shotgun, which finds Rutger Hauer starring as a homeless vigilante on the war path, has been given a May 6th release date. To help celebrate the impending theatrical debut of this Grindhouse spin-off, Magnolia Pictures has released a second trailer, and a featurette in support of this gory, hard-hitting thriller. Hobo with a Shotgun was released May 6th, 2011 and stars Rutger Hauer, Pasha Ebrahimi, Robb Wells, Brian Downey, Gregory Smith, Nick Bateman, Drew O'Hara, Molly Dunsworth. The film is directed by Jason Eisener.

    I saw this on the weekend. It's everything you would imagine it to be. Gory, hilarious, nostalgic, low-fi, with a bit of bizarre social commentary thrown in. Rutger Hauer is indeed the man.

    Pumped for this. Guilty pleasure all the way, but entertaining nonetheless. Don't like how they ripped off Quentin's superimposed character title card of Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz from Inglourious Basterds, though. They used the exact color scheme and letter design. Total rip off. Oh, well. If you're gonna steal, as they say, steal from the best.
