I think that's already been sent on it, for the CGI in this movie.

The fact that people are complaining about his suit and and the fact that they are complaining about the cgi involved in this movie, makes no sense because once the movie is released to theaters, that will likley not even be a problem because it will likely look even better once its released, then they it might look right now before it's released.

@zyclops I can agree with that. They only used motion capture for sinestro and hal's costumes. They could have benefited from using on kilowag, tomar-re, and and a few others.

MCD as Kilowog? Oh dear, perfection.

why wont they use the the CGI from Avatar. The Hulk is using stop-motion capture in The Avenger movie & the movie Rise of the Ape is also using it for the ape. they all CGI from Avatar. i think they shoud use avatar cgi for the alien in GL. the alien & all the cgi in GL look too cartoonish.

i dont get why everyone is bitching about the suit. ITS AN ALIEN COSTUME!!! its supposed to look odd. the suit isnt just a bunch of clothes he can just carry in his bag. its an alien suit so there going to make it look as alien as possible. i think the suit looks great

@skywise - there was an article on that last week.

@diaigma where did you read that? Is that something i missed here on MW? I love the GL character and i think its pretty cool that they are taking the fans opinions (probably about the suit looking a little...odd) and making it better. That tells me they not only have faith in one of their top tier titles but that they actually care what the fans think.
Of course this type of high sci-fi is not for everyone but this is a very old character with a built in audience. plus if they are going to make a JLA movie....well, you cant do that without GL. So i am all for this extra boost in FX but as i have said before it will take more than pretty FX to make this film work. I have high hopes.

@diaigma Be sure to check out Emerald Knights, too, when that comes out in June. Give you a much better understanding of all the characters.

@dan1 - lol, consider it a compliment. It was you who got me interested in that First Flight flick. Don't even think about denying it, Mr. :P

@moviegeek - They're adding 9 million for fx touchups. And what else is that track playing with?

I like it, but the suit needs to be fixed. It looks like a cartoon drawing in some parts.

@diaigma The track??!! That same track that is in EVERYY trailer?
I know I'll still watch this :P But you'll probably see it before me so I'll look forward to reading what you have to say.
9M?
1 year agoby @moviegeekFlag
Diaigma
@moviegeek - lol! Well put. I do agree this trailer isn't cut very well, but it has the catchiest track since Super 8's trailer. I'll review GL for you, man ;)
Besides, we'll see if that projected 9M can make it look any better :P

@diaigma Just the whole story, the effects, the acting, the odd over-lighting. It looks like a joke. Fantastic Four at least looked somewhat more convincing. and if 99% of the movie is CGI, and the CGI sucks, then 99% of it is bound to suck.
1 year agoby @moviegeekFlag
Diaigma
@moviegeek - which is why I never picked up a GL comic before. They always looked so hokey, the ring making stuff. Blame @dan1. He's slowly drawing me into this. But do tell. What about this looks terrible besides the 99% CGI? :P

@diaigma Never have been. And from the looks of this, never will be. It just looks so terrible.
