@skywise I wasn't that big a fan of Martha, and for me, made that season kinda lag, except it had the best episode "Blink" (the angels still scare me). I wish they put her and Mickey on Torchwood, which they made it seem like was going to happen on Donna's last episode.

@shnoopbop The Donna Storyline is soooo good and the way she "leaves" the doc was sort of heart breaking. I loved Martha Jones but her departure was...it just didnt feel right but Donna and even Rose...well when you play with the doc, sooner or later you get all used up. That is something i love about that character.

@skywise Donna has to be my favorite because she was a perfect foil for Tennant. I was hesitant about Matt Smith at first, simply because I loved Tennant, but he's really grown on me, and I agree, his chemistry with Amy makes the show now. She's awesome.

@shnoopbop i love th3e new doctor for sure but i think that Tennant was the best. However, Amy Pond is my fav companion to date and she and Smith have great chemistry. The thing about Tennant was that after his transformation i was a little disapointed but about 4-5 eps in i was sold. With Matt Smith i liked the guy right off the bat. And Moffat is just a hell of a writer.
sigh
It will take more time and more season with matt smith and a couple of re-watched before i can really decide.
