there are actors who can't act and they get by, being surrounded by other talented actors who knows their craft very well tends to work out. I missed watching Tom Hanks and I intend to watch this since it looks so good.

@k-man He's 'extremely' feminine, nor can he act very well. I completely agree. I don't believe in this film one bit, and he's the biggest reason.

When will they stop with these retarded 9/11 movies.

.....he also sucks at delivering lines. You can tell just off of the trailers. Talk about a shame......because the main character clearly can't act very well, yet he is surrounded by nothing but phenomenal actors. They should have found a different kid.

By the way, does anyone else think this kid sounds a bit on the feminine side?

@moviegeek I can tell, but I wholeheartedly agree with that assessment.

Looks wonderful.
But I have this gut feeling that this will be The Lovely Bones of 2011. It looks really sentimental, has a good cast, great director, and based on a loved book. But no one has seen it. It's releasing wide the third weekend of January. Everything points to it being received only mediocre-ly by critics. I have a feeling this will disappoint, but I'm really rooting for it.
