A new biopic about CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson is coming together and they might get a new Oscar winner to star as well. According to Variety, Sean Penn is in negotiations to star in Fair Game.

Penn has not yet closed his deal, but Naomi Watts has been brought on to star as Plame Wilson. If Penn signs on, he will portray her husband, Ambassador Joseph Wilson. The film will be based on the memiors by Plame Wilson.

Plame Wilson was a CIA operative whose covert status was comprimised by the George W. Bush adminstration's Karl Rove and Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, Scooter Libby, after her husband Wilson wrote several op-ed pieces for the New York Times claiming the Bush Administration was manipulating intelligence about the presence of weapons of mass distruction in Iraq.
