George Lucas recently talked to Reuters after being honored at the San Francisco Film Society. They asked whether Sean Connery would be back for Indiana Jones 4.

The bearded one didn't say too much. Just, "We have a script with him in it. If he doesn't do it, we'll do a quick rewrite."

Steven Spielberg says that the film will feature all of Jones' former babes in various cameo roles. Karen Allen is expected to be back for one soundbite, and other Indy girls who had smaller roles will be coming back. It is still up in the air whether or not Kate Capshaw, Spielberg's wife, will make an appearance.

The movie is scheduled for a May 22, 2008 release date.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released May 22nd, 2008 and stars Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent, Igor Jijikine. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg.
