Screen Gems has rounded out the cast of their holiday drama, This Christmas.

Written and directed by Preston Whitmore, joining the project are Laz Alonso, David Banner, Chris Brown, Loretta Devine, Idris Elba, Ricky Harris, Regina King, Delroy Lindo, Lauren London, Nia Long, Mekhi Phifer (also producing), Keith Robinson, Columbus Short and Jessica Stroup. Variety says the film is about the first Christmas gathering of the Whitfield family in four years, begins shooting today.

This Christmas starts production soon for a November 30th release.

This Christmas was released November 21st, 2007 and stars Morris Chestnut, Gabrielle Union, Faizon Love, Charles Q. Murphy, Katt Williams, Jill Marie Jones, Rachel True, Malik Hammond. The film is directed by Lance Rivera.
