Scott Speedman may star in The Vow
The film is a romantic drama from Spyglass and Screen Gems. Michael Sucsy (HBO's Grey Gardens) is helming this project. Sucsy is also rewriting the script for the movie. It will begin shooting next month in Toronto.
The Vow follows a real-life newlywed New Mexico couple (Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum) who get in a car crash. The wife is in a coma, where her husband takes care of her. "When she comes to without any memory of her husband or their marriage, the husband woos her and attempts to win her heart again."
Speedman is going to play McAdams' former fiance, with whom McAdams starts to find romance while having amnesia.
Spyglass and Screen Gems are going to co-finance and distribute the film.
The Vow was released February 10th, 2012 and stars Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum, Jessica Lange, Sam Neill, Jessica McNamee, Wendy Crewson, Tatiana Maslany, Lucas Bryant. The film is directed by Michael Sucsy.
