Scott Kosar has been hired to write the script for the thriller, Bell Watch for Universal and Reese Witherspoon's Type A.

Reese will also star in the film that follows a new mom so haunted by unexplained phenomena that she doubts her sanity. She fixates on the legend of the Bell Witch and becomes convinced that an evil spirit is out to harm her baby, reports Variety.

Look for production on Bell Watch to start sometime next year.
