Scott 'Kid Cudi' Mescudi has joined the cast of DreamWorks' upcoming video game adaptation Need for Speed. Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper and Imogen Poots are already attached to star.

The high-octane action film follows Tobey Marshall (Aaron Paul), who tears across the U.S. on a mission for revenge against the man that killed his best friend. The film will focus on 1970's style vehicles.

Scott 'Kid Cudi' Mescudi is best known for being a record producer and artist, who has worked with the likes of Kanye West and David Guetta. He made his acting debut on HBO's comedy How to Make It in America and contribute to the soundtracks for DreamWorks' Fright Night and The Hunger Games.

Need for Speed was released March 14th, 2014 and stars Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots, Scott Mescudi, Rami Malek, Ramon Rodriguez, Harrison Gilbertson, Dakota Johnson. The film is directed by Scott Waugh.

    it wont be better as fast n furious...
    and just like fast n furious i read on here a while ago when i first read about this film that they want to make it like FF and make it into a series...but i guess we will have to see what happens when this movie comes out to see if the series will happen

    I have a feeling this will be a knock off of fast and furious. Unless they really stick to the racing aspect. But good to see they are bringing in a popular cast with kid cudi & Aaron Paul
