Sci Fi Channel is picking up Battlestar Galactica for a fourth season.

The network has ordered 13 episodes of the series that moved from Fridays to a 10pm slot on Sundays, where it has been averaging 1.7 million total viewers. The Hollywood Reporter adds the Jan. 21 midseason debut garnered 1.8 million viewers marking the network's best performance at 10pm Sundays since June 2003; the third season's total-viewer average overall is down slightly from the second season.

Look for season four of Battlestar Galactica to begin airing next January.
