If Arnold is there....it wil be AWESOME..to me terminator means arnold...he is the life of the franchise...but even if he's not there illtry the movie becoz i think i shud check it out...as i am a huge fan of T1 and T2.

I think it's a good idea to keep going on with the story. I'm just worried that there will be so much content with the new series, the last 3 movies, and the new ones. Hope they can at least keep the story straight.

Yea T3 was a real disaster, so hopefully they get it back on track this time round and well its not really Terminator without Arnie, but fingers crossed and with the right direction I'm hoping Christian Bale will do it justice...

McG is the director. This one better not look anything like Charlie's Angels or I'm going postal.
The title sucks. Call it Terminator Salvation, but what's with The Future Begins? Honestly, it doesn't need two extra titles

Things just get better and better. Terminator tv series, Christian Bale as John Conner, and a cameo of Arnold. I am also happy that they are taking the franchise in new directions

Let's Review all the rumors:
1) Arnold Schwarzenegger will have a 30-second cameo (Moviehole.net)
2) Christian Bale to star as a 30-year-old John Connor or a Terminator
3) McG will be directing the first part of the new trilogy.
4) The story will be written by David Campbell Wilson, John Brancato, and Michael Ferris, and it will take place after the events of T3 and focus mainly on the war between man and Skynet.
5) On July 19, 2007, the film news site Dark Horizons revealed that the Terminator 4 project is currently in legal limbo due to a lawsuit between MGM and Halcyon subsidiary T Asset. According to the article, MGM has an exclusive window of 30 days to negotiate for distribution of the Terminator films. When negotiating for Terminator 4, Halcyon rejected their initial proposal, and MGM suspended negotiations. After the 30 days were over, MGM claimed that the period during which negotiations were suspended did not count and their exclusive period is still open. Halcyon is now asking a court for an injunction allowing them to approach other distributors.
6) According to an interview on February 1, 2005, Nick Stahl and Claire Danes will not be returning for "Terminator 4".
7) Reliable sources all over the web are claiming that Vin Diesel could be taking on the role of the film's robotic killing machine.
