Their source says:
So the scene that was shot was for the Hulk with General Thunderbolt who is very important to the Hulk. Anyway, Tony Stark meets with him - which of course is a straight prelude to the Avengers Movie.
So, Tony Stark will be making an appearance in The Incredible Hulk. What remains unclear is whether there will be a scene in Iron Man where we see Edward Norton or any of the other actors appearing in The Incredible Hulk.
Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwynth Paltrow flies into theatres on May 2, 2008. The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton, William Hurt, Liv Tyler and Tim Roth arrives just a little over one month later, hitting the screen on June 13, 2008.

well i think they should have left spiderman just as spiderman but i agree that the hulk and iron man linking would be very cool. i tink this hulk will be alot better than the first. this is just another film i cannot wait for.

This sounds like a good idea, and this isn't the first time Tony Stark's name has come up in a Marvel movie. I read that Magneto's plastic prison in X2 was made by Stark Industries.
They should have more cameo's or even just little references in super hero movies. Not big, long, appearances, but just a small scene to see who notices. I'll be watching for this one when I see "The Incredible Hulk."

Sometimes i think they don't use references because they think it could take away from the main hero in the movie. To me it helps builds the character in the movie by telling the fans they actually did research into a character and their fellow heroes. Also helps with spin offs.
They did a small reference to Gotham in Super Man Returns, should we expect the same here. Or will be something like General Thunderbolt asking Stark to build him a weapon to try to take down Hulk.

This is something they should have done with most comic movies.....Xmen especially.....Spiderman / daredevil......batman/superman
Not really crossovers, but "CAMEOS" of certain figures in these movies would've made a lot of sense to keep the flow and continuity for them.
Xmens biggest flaw is its timeline and continuity in comparisson to the actual comic line. I know its just a movie, but a lot of fans notice this and alot of critics.....are fans.......
