The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: According to Variety, Nickelodeon Movies has signed up Scarlett Johansson, Alec Baldwin and Jeffrey Tambor for voice work in its animated The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

The film, due out Nov. 19th from Paramount, is being directed by Stephen Hillenburg, creator of the Nickelodeon cable series. Story centers on the irrepressible SpongeBob's efforts to retrieve King Neptune's stolen crown.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie was released November 19th, 2004 and stars Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Mr. Lawrence, Jill Talley, Carolyn Lawrence, Mary Jo Catlett. The film is directed by Stephen Hillenburg.
