
Scarface comes back to the big screen August 31

Scarface is a 1983 American crime drama and masterful collaboration between acclaimed director Brian DePalma and Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Oliver Stone. Produced by Martin Bregman, Academy Award® winner Al Pacino stars as Tony Montana, a Cuban immigrant who finds wealth, power and passion beyond his wildest dreams...at a price he never imagined. Scarface was nominated for three Golden Globe® Awards (including Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Score), and was named one of the Top 10 Gangster Films of All Time by the American Film Institute.
This one-night, in-theater event celebrates the first-ever Blu-ray release of Scarface on September 6 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Scarface was released December 9th, 1983 and stars Al Pacino, Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Robert Loggia, Miriam Colon, F. Murray Abraham, Paul Shenar. The film is directed by Brian De Palma.

The Untouchables is by far De Palma's best film, in my opinion. I would also rank Carlito's Way as a much better film, as Pacino isn't playing a caricature in that film.

scarface is a classic and al should of won best actor for this brilliant performance but come on my dude...again in the theater. depalma give a break dude i think people have seen this movie on vhs, amc, dvd, bluray dude now what 3d...sorry but i will save my movie and watch it at home

De Palma made quite a few gems over the years but this is by far his best. A freakin' classic and since I don't own a copy of it, this blu-ray looks like the way to go! No way this film is overrated and imo Pacino's best work.
