Saw VII 3D in the Works

Saw VI may not have been a big box office success, but that isn't stopping Twisted Pictures from beginning work on the next installment: Saw VII 3D, according to Fear Net. Here is what Tobin Bell had to say:

"It will be an interesting experience," said Bell. "I'll be doing the same thing. Possibly doing it differently, like saying, 'Reach out this way!' But I am going to be doing exactly what I always do. I am more concerned with the quality of the drama than I am in the special effects, I'll leave that to someone else. That's not my job. I'll be watching with interest and listening for good counsel from the 3-D techs, who I'm sure will be lingering around me."

"And I'll be saying, get away from me!'" he laughed.

David Hackl will direct the horror, while Marcus Dunstan, Patrick Melton are writing. Lionsgate has set a release date of October 22, 2010.

Saw 3D was released October 29th, 2010 and stars Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Gina Holden, Betsy Russell, Tanedra Howard, Johnny Yong Bosch, Shauna MacDonald, Franky G. The film is directed by Kevin Greutert.

In 3D, 2D, freaking Kaleidoscope, no one should have to watch this film, and hopefully they kill the franchise. To be honest, dead with the first one anywayz.

Btw I did really close observations of the hairline and shoulders, and the guy who is wearing John's face in the image is Detective Hoffman.

I see what you mean penguin. I went back and skimmed through some of the earlier movies. Chad, I think what penguin meant was when the guy in the pig mask would finish dragging the new players into their game, he would walk towards the door but he would drag his right foot as if it were gone. I think your theory is sort of clever with Gordon being the real mastermind behind Jigsaw now. It makes sense to me. I looked at the poster you talked about. Yeah it does look a lot like Gordon. Wouldnt that be something if it was? Chad I also understand where youre coming from and your theories are very sound as well.

Penguin, people are heavy lol, dragging a person against your leg is probably an easier way to do it. And even if that random Matthew theory is questionable, it still makes no sense lol. He died. His dead got smashed by the ice blocks. It wouldn't make sense for him to die like that. Unless he was somehow involved with Amanda in some way other than planting evidence.

Halo dont forget about Detective Matthews. Remember he snapped his ankle in order to free himself from that chain he was attached to. Then the next time we saw him was when he was on top of that chunk of ice. He had a walking boot on! That is pretty much the same reason why I dislike Saw now. I dont give a crap about Amanda or Hoffman carrying on Jigsaw's so called "legacy" knowing that Dr. Gordon is behind this whole thing now. Plus anytime you see the guy in the pig mask kidnap the next players of Jigsaw's game he always drags his right foot. Coincidence? Hell no. The poster that came out either last year or the year before, that WAS Gordon behind that mask that looks like Johns face. Look at it real hard.

Plus it'd be cool if it were Jill Tuck's hospital than Gordon worked at, and maybe, just maybe, Jill had an affair with Gordon (which we don't know about yet). Lots of possibilities story wise. They gotta end it by 9 or it will be over done. I mean, most people don't like it now, can you imagine if they went past 9? lol.

"Saw just seems lame now. If they would come out and finally tell the audience that Dr. Gordon is an accomplice with Hoffman then maybe I'll get somewhat interested again. Jigsaw, aka John, was an engineer. Everybody remember when that one guy had to dig the key out of his eye to escape that reverse bear trap? No way in hell Jigsaw did that surgery. If you watch the movie you will notice that at the beginning of the trap Jigsaw shows the victim video of him being unconscious having the key placed inside. Jigsaw is limping on his right side. And which foot did Gordon cut off?"

Yeah I've had this theory for years now, especially since they never talk about him in any film. The only reference they use is in 5 where it's a flashback of Jigsaw telling Hoffman to plant this pen of Gordon, "a healer who needs healing" :)

Well, in film there are milestones...back in 91..I saw a shape-shifting man of metal at the theatre, in 93 I saw real dinosaurs come to life, in 96 I witnessed an invasion by aliens (who ironically had no defense against internet viruses), in 2002 I saw Spiderman swing through NYC, and now an new milestone in cinema...in 2010, come Halloween, I will know what a 3-D Sh*t looks like...I'm counting the days.
