SAW sees big first-day cut
Director James Wan's film about a serial killer who devises gruesome situations to get his victims to kill each other, is expected to easily surpass its domestic boxoffice cume of $55 million during its first week in release on home video, according to Saw distributor Lions Gate Home Entertainment.
Last week, DreamWorks Home Entertainment's animated film Shark Tale dominated both DVD and VHS sales, according to Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert weekly sales charts.

Saw was released October 29th, 2004 and stars Leigh Whannell, Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Ken Leung, Dina Meyer, Mike Butters, Paul Gutrecht, Michael Emerson. The film is directed by James Wan.
