absolutely love the saw franchise! All the movies tie in very well and love the way the 4th gave so much background on jigsaw. I can see where there is soo much room for more movies. Unlike the friday the 13th and the halloween franchises, Saw is so much more intelligent. It carries soo much more of a story. Both of the other franchises had characters that were immortal. It wasn't realistic enough to immerse yourself in the " what-if" . The story lines were predictable and "oh my god, it's a knife". lol. I'm definatley not a sadistic person by any means, but always look forward to the traps that the saw franchise brings to the set. I say bring it on! Always look forward to watching another part of the story. And to RINGWRAITHER, a series of fox would be rather unethical, lol. The budget would be a lot lower and there are so many things that would have to be left out. I already made my comment on the other 2. If you don't like it, don't watch it. But I bet you one thing, If they come out with a SAW 10, You would be one of the first in line to see it. D>

Rhavn, if you notice the beggining in the 4th movie
it is also the ending of the movie too, if you remember the ending is the new apprentice guy still holding onto jigsaws tape player the 4th movie was telling what was going on at the time of the 3rd. movie while jeff was fulfulling his tasks in the 3rd movie, that black riggs swat team guy was having a test at that time too and that was saw 4 so its like the 3rd and 4th movie were going on at the same time, just different movies but they did leave all that sh*t out about the daughter, BUT im a huge saw buff and the biggest question on my mind is WHERE THE F*CK IS DOCTOR GORDON? he escaped, they show what happened to adam and dectective matthews but there has been no mention of him since the 1st... i bet he ties in at the end of the 6th or somethin.

Ok, there was something wrong about the 4th movie....jigsaw's body was in the morgue being autopsied then near the end of the movie it was still in the room where he died in the third movie?...and it was supposed to be 6 months between movies?...I was lost on the last movie but they did leave a bit of a cliff hanger at the end...and where the hell was Jessica Alba? She was cast to be in the 4th movie but she wasn't in it? I know that detective from the 4th is still alive, but what about the little girl that was supposed to be alive in the third movie who's father was looking for her?...her father got killed near the end of the 4th movie?...what the hell? I'm really confused beyond belief...anyone have a website link that carefully explains how the first 4 movies fit together?...and when is that Trick'r'Treat movie by Brian Singer coming out? I was expecting it this past Halloween.

I dont know how they feel the series can even go on. I mean jigsaw is dead. unless there was a back up plan already set that can still happen with him in four that ties to the story in three thats the only way saw four will be any good. but 5 and 6? you guys have got to stop making these films now. its getting very old. the good writing from the first was lost. There wasn't anywhere near as much gore in the first as there was in the 2nd and third and it was definitely the best saw movie. you guys have got to get more concentration on the story and off the gore a little bit. This movie started as more of a thriller than a horror film and i dont know why they are trying to transition to that. I dont see this series ending in a good way.

I like the Saw franchise (although the 3rd was sub par), and I'm mildly curious about the 4th. However, Jigsaw is dead, I don't see how a Saw 5 & 6 would work seeing as how 4 is going to be very questionable on it's quality as is.

The first Saw was good with the WTF ending, the 2nd alright...the 3rd was over the top in graphic gore in a bad way. I have no interest in Saw4, much less Saw 5 & 6. The torture hooror genre is dead...5 & 6 should reinvent itself with more psych. suspense/plot twists.

Im a huge Saw fan but this is starting to be a little much. There is a point when they need NEED to call it quits. Even the director is leaving. That should be a sign that it needs to die. Cant wait for Saw 4 but beyond that I think they are just gonna ruin the franchise. Oh well.....
