Lionsgate Entertainment has announced Halloween Day, October 31st as the release date for Saw III.

The studio is also set to launch a huge campaign for the film including the release of a special director's cut DVD package earlier in the month, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Saw III is currently shooting in Toronto and is scheduled to continue until early July with a reported budget of $10 million.

Saw III was released October 27th, 2006 and stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Angus Macfadyen, Bahar Soomekh, Donnie Wahlberg, Dina Meyer, Leigh Whannell, Mpho Koaho. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.
