Joel David Moore joins Savages
Oliver Stone is directing the film for Universal Pictures, which follows two Laguna Beach potheads who lose their shared girlfriend to the local Mexican drug cartel.
Joel David Moore is set to play a computer geek who moves out of Washington, D.C. to join the the marijuana business. Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson play the two boyfriends, Blake Lively plays the girlfriend, and Benicio Del Toro is the cartel leader.
Savages also marks John Travolta and Uma Thurman's third time on screen together, with both actors appearing in smaller roles.
Don Winslow wrote the original novel upon which the movie is based. Shooting is scheduled to begin very soon.
Savages comes to theaters September 28th, 2012 and stars Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Benicio Del Toro, Emile Hirsch, Blake Lively, Salma Hayek, John Travolta, Uma Thurman. The film is directed by Oliver Stone.

WHAT!!!????? WHY??? This guy is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!! Worst thing about Avatar by far and one of the worst actors I've ever seen......period.
Not only does he suck at acting but he's a complete and utter douche to match.....how he managed to successfully break into the industry is beyond me.
This really is such a tragedy......before this announcement they had some pretty damn good talent on board. Way to ruin a good thing, Oliver Stone!
