It has been widely publicized that Samuel L. Jackson had his The Avengers shooting script stolen and later sold on the black market.

Today, Samuel L. Jackson has come forward to talk about how the theft actually occurred, and how he was scolded by Walt Disney and Marvel Studios for letting this happen.

This is what Samuel L. Jackson had to say about the notorious incident.

"When they sent me the new version of the script, I was shooting a film in Toronto (Canada) and my assistant copied it from the email (and printed it) in the office somewhere. And by the time we got to Albuquerque someone had stolen the script out of the printer and put it online for sale. I didn't know printers had memories. And apparently my assistant didn't either. Marvel/Disney kind of got really upset about it. It caused a minor storm of investigation. They sent a team of investigators to Canada. They were trying to find (track down) the IP address of the person that put it online. It was crazy."

No one has been arrested in the theft of Samuel L. Jackson's script. Neither Marvel nor Disney have ever made any official comments in regards to this infamous incident.

Marvel's The Avengers was released May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.

Hopefully they will find that person eventually, if they have not yet found that person already.

So do I. I would truely hate to be the disney and marvel executives who tried to get upset at Sam. I mean come on he's played bad A@@#$ for so long that if you even approached him with anything remotely negative even if its not his fault he might pop a cap on you or something or slice you with his lightsaber. Just kidding. Love Sam he's one of those jem african american actors like Denzel every movie he's in gets better and better even if its a crappy one.

@ignitedspade I totally agree with your statement. I usually try to avoid in-depth info on any film that I am really anticipating. Why would you want to ruin the cinema experience and any surprises. A good trailer and some brief info is enough to hold me over most of the time.

I'm pretty sure, that even though the script is leaked online and such...that a fan of the Avengers, and someone who is looking forward to the film, isn't going to read it, regardless of where and how much of it is plastered on the internet. I personally haven't searched for it, or read it. And I plan to keep it that way.

Who ever stole the script is a bastard idot fool why ruin the fun of the most awaited comic book team up movieof the decade.

I can't believe that someone would go so far that he give out spoliers for a movie that isn't released yet for just fun.

If Samuel L. Jackson finds him then he would say "I had enough of this motherf*cker bitch stealing my motherf*cking script".
