Samuel Goldwyn Films to Release Southland Tales on November 9th
Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson stars alongside Seann William Scott and Sarah Michelle Gellar in the sci-fi thriller.
Southland Tales is an ensemble piece set in the futuristic landscape of Los Angeles on July 4, 2008, as it stands on the brink of social, economic and environmental disaster. Boxer Santaros is an action star who's stricken with amnesia. His life intertwines with Krysta Now, an adult film star developing her own reality television project, and David Clark, a Hermosa Beach police officer who holds the key to a vast conspiracy.
Southland Tales was released November 14th, 2007 and stars Carlos Amezcua, Curtis Armstrong, Robert Benz, Todd Berger, Dave Carlin, Joe Campana, Chris Andrew Ciulla, Rebekah Del Rio. The film is directed by Richard Kelly.

I am honestly not sure if I'm excited about this anymore. It's gotten such terrible reviews so far and with the critical success of Kelly's last film Donnie Darko, thats not a good thing to hear. Perhaps directors have one-hit-wonders too?
