Samantha Who? Gets Cancelled by ABC

It seems one of ABC's series' won't see a third season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has canceled the second-year comedy Samantha Who?.

It was said that the series was expected to return for a third season, but it was said that the series, which starred Christina Applegate, couldn't cut its budget enough for the network to bring it back.

The series was a strong performer when it debuted on Monday nights in 2007, but the ratings fell when the show was moved to Thursday nights last season.

    its cuz reality TV cost next to nothing to make. pay some dumb $hit a couple bucks to make him/her look like a jack ass...i wish all of you out there would just stop watching those shows. so these networks finally put effort in to making good quality shows again.

    I am just happy ABC renewed Castle. I was afraid it was going to be like so many of the other shows that are on for one season and then gone.

    Seriously though it's too bad. A funny show with an engaging cast. Bravo to the producers for not wanting to cut the budget, nice to see they were at least trying to maintain some integrity.
