Sam Worthington Joins Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins

Sam Worthington has recently signed on to star in McG's Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. According to Variety, James Cameron wisely recommended to McG that he should look towards Worthington for the lead role.

Worthington will play the role of Marcus, a central figure in a three-picture arc that begins after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust. A group of survivors led by John Connor (Christian Bale) struggles to keep the machines from finishing the job.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is scheduled to be released in theaters the summer of 2009.

Terminator Salvation was released May 21st, 2009 and stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood, Helena Bonham Carter, Anton Yelchin, Jadagrace, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common. The film is directed by McG.

    I agree with The Kwisatz Haderach.But no matter how good it turns out it's hard to live up to the first two.Just hope it's way darker this time,and it actually feels like a Terminator movie i'd be somewhat happy.
