Sam Worthington confirmed to star in Dracula Year Zero
The Encore report indicates that the film will be shot in Australia. The news was announced at the Australian International Movie Convention.
We reported back in January that Worthington had been attached to the film and it was said that the $100 million project would be the origin story of Vlad the Impaler, the Romanian royalty who terrorized his nation and inspired Bram Stoker to create his classic character, Dracula. Collider's account reveals that the film will start shooting in June 2011.
We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further information on Dracula Year Zero as soon as we have more information.

Hmmm title makes no sense. As in you can't have a year zero. From zero to one is year one. This is worse than explaining time travel......What everyone counts as your first birthday is actually your second etc etc etc

Wth? The best draculas ever were Christopher lee, Frank Langella and Gary Oldman. And by all means, gary oldman should reprise his role as dracula since he is the only one out of all of them who doesnt look that old
