Sam Raimi Producing Monster Zoo
Paramount Pictures has picked up the feature rights to Monster Zoo, a new graphic novel by Douglas TenNapel that will be published this spring by Image. Buckaroo Entertainment's Sam Raimi and Josh Donen is set to produce with Ellen Goldsmith Vein.
According to Variety, TenNapel, whose past graphic creations include "Earthworm Jim" and "Cat Scratch," tells the story of a young boy who discovers his local zoo contains critters much more frightening than the ordinary collection.
No word on when production is set to begin.

Never heard of the novel, but sounds cool. Raimi seems to be returning to horror.
