NBC announced that Sam Neill, Sean Bean and Joss Ackland have joined the network's fall drama Crusoe.

According to Variety, Neill (The Tudors) plays Jeremiah Blackthorn, the family friend who helps Robinson Crusoe (Philip Winchester) build a business empire. Bean (The Lord Of The Rings) is aboard as James, Crusoe's widower father. Cast also includes Anna Walton.

Crusoe, which comes from the U.K.'s Power shingle, will be shot in the U.K., South Africa and the Seychelles.
