According to Variety, Lions Gate has tapped musicvideo helmers Ryan Smith and Frank Borin to direct family comedy Kidnapped, starring James "Lil' J.J." Lewis and Bobbe J Thompson.

Kidnapped is being produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit shingle with Latifah, Shakim Compere and Latee French on board to produce.

The story, penned by Dwayne Alexander Smith, revolves around the kidnapping of three siblings after their parents win the lottery.
