Ryan Reynolds Talks Green Lantern
"I think you walk away from this first film, and the moments that you remember and the moments that mean so much to you, not unlike Iron Man, are the moments where the guy's not in the suit," said Reynolds.
However, Reynolds acknowledged that developing those moments amid the cosmic action central to Green Lantern is a daunting task - after all, a test pilot who receives a super-powered ring from a dying alien is likely to demand a much different tone than a billionaire industrialist building his own battle armor.
"That to me is the tough thing to get right," he explained. "And that's something that they did get right [in Iron Man]. You see why this guy's in the suit, and that's what's interesting to me. Not that he is in the suit, but why."

Ryan Reynolds is one my favorite comedian actors. He's funny. Perfect example- Waiting. And he was only good part of The Proposal, which is kinda strange cause Sandra Bullock's not a bad actress, it was just weird, like not natural feeling like it should have been. But I don't like most chick flicks cause they are always the same intelligence hurting scripts. Besides, you have to remember that in the movie world, RR's name is bigger than Justin's, thus of course the studio will be in favor of Ryan regardless of your terrible opinion. People with good/safe opinions made the decision.

I AM FRATSON
proposal is a chick flick, completely different than playing a superhero. i wish cooper would have gotten the role. if anyone honestly thinks it should have gone to JT you are all full of sh*t. yea, i do like him, but for a character of this magnitude, and expected sequels, you need a bigger actor than him.
reynolds is a great actor and i personally think he is going to kill this role. he trained his ass off for deadpool. he is obviously taking this role very seriously as well. hate him or not, the guy has the appeal and capability in pulling off this franchise

Reynolds does suck ass. Haven't you seen him in the Proposal?

Seems like he has a good grasp on what is to be expected from him. They need to get the ball rolling, though.

I'm just tired of Reynolds. He's playing the same guy in every movie.

I saw Alpha Dogs, which is the reason why I actually like Justin now, but I'm still iffy on him being in such a important role with all the pressure from loyal fans and what not... you know everyone would be talking sh*t "F Timberlake yada yada yada" etc. ya know? I can see it already. I'm not knocking the guy, I just don't think he is ready. He was only in previous films because of his name, not because of his amazing acting skills (which we really don't know if he has or not really).

Chad, obviously, you haven't seen Alpha Dog or Southland Tales.

Bradley Cooper should have gotten this role if anybody, Timberlake doesn't deserve this big of a movie yet. He needs to act in other films first to show people he can prove them wrong if he actually has the acting chops to be a main lead character, then he can do a big ass movie like this lol.

this is a have to wait and see more me, i enjoyed his work especially his comedy films, and i was shocked how well he did deadpool with the limited time he had, so i think in this movie i might be surprised again.

I am with Comrade. And I think he's endorsing Iron Man not only with its related view of the hero, but because his smoking hot wife is in it the sequel. Jk. But really looking forward to this. Make us proud Ryan.

Good to hear someone talking about it, and even better to know that Ryan Reynolds is engaging this character seriously.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT RYAN REYNOLDS IS TALKING ABOUT A MOVIE! Is he the producer? Does he make these decisions? Why is he always talking about the movie's preproduction? DOES HE PULL THE WEIGHT IN THERE!?!!
