According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Merriman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead will star in Cheating Death: Final Destination 3, New Line Cinema's latest installment of the popular horror series.

Warren Zide, Craig Perry, Glen Morgan and James Wong are producing. Wong, who directed 2000's Final Destination, is back in the directing chair. The story is set six years after the events of the first movie and centers on a high school senior who has a premonition of a fatal amusement-park accident involving her and her friends. When the premonition becomes a reality, those who survive are forced to deal with the repercussions of "cheating death."

The film starts shooting April 4 in Vancouver and is expected to have a budget around $25 million.

Final Destination 3 was released February 10th, 2006 and stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ryan Merriman, Kris Lemche, Alexz Johnson, Sam Easton, Jesse Moss, Gina Holden, Texas Battle. The film is directed by James Wong.
