Che: According to Variety, director Terrence Malick has set Ryan Gosling, Javier Bardem, Benjamin Bratt and Franka Potente to play Guevara's closest confidantes in the revolution.

Since gaining notice in HBO's "True Believer," Gosling has had roles in "The United States of Leland," upcoming New Line pic The Notebook and the Marc Forster-directed Stay.

Bratt recently wrapped Catwoman opposite Halle Berry; Bardem just completed the Michael Mann-directed Collateral with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx; and Potente, discovered by Hollywood in Run Lola Run, next stars in The Bourne Identity sequel The Bourne Supremacy.
